 Control of Electronic Properties of

Aggregated pi-Conjugated Molecules

 Open Post-Doc and Ph.D. positions

Within the Research Training School several post-doc and Ph.D. positions are available.

Candidates for the Post-Doc positions shall possess experience in either

a) scanning tunnelling microscopy/spectroscopy (STM/STS) of organic adsorbates on graphite or gold surfaces or

b) in the synthesis and physicochemical characterisation of functional pi-electron systems or

c) in method development in quantum chemistry or quantum dynamics.

Candidates for the Ph.D. positions shall be interested in an interdisciplinary research work placed between synthesis, spectroscopy and theory. Detailed project descriptions can be viewed at the Research Training School homepage www.grk1221.de

The Post-Doc positions are limited to two years and the Ph.D. positions to three years. Salary is BATIIa (Post-Doc) and BATIIa/2 (Ph.D. positions)
